Boast is interesting because it’s an activated ability (cost:effect) that can only be activated when a condition is met, like a triggered ability.
As long as the first activation happened while the condition was met (the creature attacked this turn) the effect from the ability can be copied before it finishes resolving.
Meanwhile my players have been on The Galley of Death (a one shot being used as their session 1) for going on 3 sessions because they can’t agree on how to escape lol
Triggered and activated abilities can be divided into two parts: condition, and effect. For activated abilities, the condition is a specific cost being paid and is separated from the effect by a colon, while triggered abilities just happen whenever a specified criteria is met. When copying one of these abilities, you only ever copy the effect, not the condition.
So if you copy an ability that says “whenever x happens, do y” you get y effect twice without having to meet the x condition a second time. If you copy an ability that says “do x: get y effect” you get y effect without having to do x a second time.
Hope that makes sense!
I can relate to not wanting to throw something away if you can just fix it, but I guarantee you will save yourself a lot of time and stress if you just go down to your local thrift shop with a kitchen section and pick one of the dozens of spatulas they will have for like $0.50.

The trailer at least gives the impression this will be much more light on story than previous games. That would be pretty disappointing - the gameplay in these games is typically nothing special so it’s the story that kept me playing.
I should not have to play a control deck just to be able to play a game of magic without my opponent winning on turn 3
Decks that only aim to combo out and are completely indifferent to anything you are doing are a bane on the game and the reason I would exclusively play limited if it were an option.
I wish wotc would aggressively ban the key pieces of these decks that let them basically cast half their deck after resolving a single 3 mana spell.
I am a lazy launderer and my partner has loads of clothes of various fabrics.
My trick that has never let me down:
wash everything on cold
When rotating to the dryer, indiscriminately pick out any tops that don’t feel like regular “t shirt” fabric, pick out all bottoms that aren’t obviously cotton, pick out all wool, pick out all dresses, button up shirts, skirts, or “full body” garments as regardless of what fabric they feel like they tend to be more sensitive to the heat.
The rest can go in the dryer, but hang dry all the stuff you picked out.
I might end up hang drying more than I need to, but it beats the hell out of checking the tag on every individual garment.
Hasn’t that always been the case with the warioware series? The games are always a wild mix of off-the-wall mini games that often don’t stick the landing, but for people that enjoy the series that’s the exact charm of them. I would guess if you’ve already played and enjoyed a few games from the series you’ll feel much the same about this one. I’d just check reviews to make sure they haven’t wildly changed the format in a way you’re not interested in, but otherwise Nintendo has been pretty consistent on what to expect with this series.

That’s wild man.
Civilian casualties of war aren’t just a statistic. Those are real people that just wanted to live happy lives. Less than 1% of any number over 100 is a number I’m not happy about, and anyone with a heart should be furious about the number of civilians dying in Gaza. Especially when those numbers are such a high percentage. If you can’t fight a war without that kind of casualty count, then you either don’t fight the war or you accept that what you are doing is a genocide, not a war. IDF has very clearly made their choice on this.
