You had me in the first half, I’m not going to lie.
You had me in the first half, I’m not going to lie.
I’m so glad someone else made this joke so i couldn’t.
Thank you for your sacrifice.
I was living abroad at the time. I was young and cocky. I made jokes about card games having to change the term trump to clinton cause she’s going to beat him easily. I was wrong.
Then it got scary.
Now I live in NC and I can’t wait to vote blue.
I agree with you, mostly.
My problem is that a lot of people want us to be so much more progressive and socialist that anything less than a full running leap to the left is being equated to disaster. And here’s the thing, I used to be that way. I wanted Sanders so bad that I didn’t vote for Hillary.
I’ll regret that decision for the rest of my life. Friends of mine died during the pandemic because of that decision. So now, no matter how bleak, I will always vote for even the smallest step towards the side of decency.
I am realistic about it and i agree with Juan Gonzalez on the whole. I don’t agree with his focus and his tone. His focus is on how it’s not enough and his tone is doom and gloom. That’s just exhausting.
Disingenuous and baiting. Thanks for showing us know who you are.
I think he meant -philia
So “Russiaphilia”
This guy is spouting more doom and gloom and trying to equate the two parties as “the same”.
As a former expat, every single person I know that isn’t an American native is very excited for the Democratic party.
Dude. I’m ADHD and I’m the exact same way. I hate it cause it’s all I can think about.
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if we would just chuck woodchucks?
An artillerist can just be a chef making food golems.
Embrace the flavor. And by flavor, I mean change the theme of your character without changing the mechanics.
Is that a dagger or an incredibly sharp sushi knife? Is that a longsword or a butcher’s cleaver?
I personally have made this character as an artificer but you could do it as a rogue. A highly skilled chef who knows exactly how to cut (sneak attack). As an adventurer, you seek out new flavors and styles of cooking and aren’t affraid to try some dragon steaks, with harpy eggs, with a side of black ooze gelato.
Also there is a single feat that really helps push it.
Can someone please tell me who the second character is at the bottom?
PLEASE! IT’S FOR SCIENCE!!!
Because 1 Drakon is 1000 Cubic 100tholians, which takes 1000 Vornies to raise 100 degrees on the Flugar scale to boiling point.
Metric is very scientific, but it was made through arbitrary means. They chose to make it easier than imperial by using divisions of 10. But it’s all based on a single measurement that they made up through arbitrary means.
“We have this length called a meter. How do we define it? Let’s use it to measue something in nature and then use that measurement to define it.”
It’s the entire plot point of the Kyoshi Warriors. Take out Sokka’s sexism and there’s no need for a group of female warriors. Nothing would have been lost from the episode that pushed Aang further along his path.
How Netflix addressed it was about Sokka feeling inadequate as a man and seeing all these women who could do the things he wished he could. So he shyly and politely asked to be taught.
It’s a good change.
Yeah first episode was shit.
I liked how they bypassed Sokka’s sexism and made it more about his insecurities with his dad and what it means to be a man.
I liked how Katara’s fight with Paku and her ability to lead all of the female waterbenders made her a master in his eyes which lead to him telling the teens to find Master Katara.
I like how all the previous Avatars have baggage about doing things alone or being vicious. It forces Aang to find his own path instead of following someone elses path. He no longer needs to live up to the previous Avatars, he just needs to be his own Avatar.
Yeah, i need to know. I can’t seem to find anything on google.
He’s not correct. Don’t let him have this.
Totally agree. We use “here” and “there” to imply distance. So saying “there on Thanksgiving” is implying distance in time from the “here and now”.
I understood OP immediately and it actually took me time to figure out why the guy who replied mentioned Thanksgiving.
Seriously, why are we still using Twitter?
