I haven’t really noticed my Vpn make any real difference so I just keep it now.

I generally don’t spend more than I have to so I stick with mid rangers. Only time that was a bad mistake I’d say is when I bought a pos nothing phone by far the worst android device I’ve ever owned.
Nothing phones tend to reboot randomly it’s pretty much the only Android phone I’ve ever owned that crashes on a daily basis.
I wouldn’t buy from them again personally.
I had a honor 10 before my current Nothing phone I wish I had of kept with Honor despite the spec difference my old phone was much more reliable.
Sadly Nothing seems determined to make my phone worse every single update when it was never very good to begin with.
Seems like a retarded strategy and I hope everyone stops believing their outright nonsense.
I think I’ll probably go back to honor as I’m on a budget but one guarantee is I’m never ever buying a Nothing product ever again.
Call me skeptical I guess but if you wanted a phone that worked as long as lithium say 5000mah using capacitors I think it would be a dozen times larger at least.
Maybe I’ve got it wrong and supercapacitors hold more energy or something like that.
I’d be more suspicious of the router manufacturer or even a disgruntled worker there than anyone else to be honest. An actual hacker I think would be more motivated to turn them into a botnet or similar.
Can’t think of why someone would want to brick them without another motive but I could be wrong.
I’ve actually been watching this guy for a while, it’s interesting his homemade rc stuff etc.
Smart Ir was the perfect ir app, but yeah I think they shelved it when the hardware went mostly away on phones.
Sucks we are going backwards and being charged more for the privilege.
I honestly though all phones would have night vision cameras and similar by now but yeah In 5 years we will be lucky if they can make phone calls
What this really is, is only a shortcut to the chatgpt app, they’ve just made a widget which doesn’t even do anything the official chatgpt widget doesn’t.
How this is described as integrated is nonsense and more a publicity grab than anything else.
It really is just an oversized widget that just launches chatgpt.
Sad to see you were downvoted for this, I do have a huawei smartwatch which can go a few weeks and doubles as an mp3 player but gotta love the fact g-shocks basically go forever, are always syncing the time to be perfect and are just tough as hell.
Took me a long time to try a smartwatch but I’m sure my old g-shocks will outlast it.
Mine used to look pretty OK but then one day it moved everything into a folder named ironically No Folder and because I kinda need the passwords pretty badly I don’t want to try and risk fixing it.
I’d like an eink device with a battery like this, just mainly out of curiosity I know it would be terrible for videos etc but I imagine you could get a decent amount of browsing and an absolute year or more of just reading.
Yeah I’m skeptical of those claims as well, I’ve never owned a phone that did it a lot until this one and I’m pretty sure it’s Nothing who introduced the vast majority of problems.
Their just too concerned with things like clothing lines and pr stunts to actually fix anything they break
I wouldn’t buy the phone 1 again anyway put it that way.
It was actually great until phone 2 released then they updated it to be very unstable and the cameras also got noticeably worse from updates.
On the plus side I’ve read the custom roms for it are pretty good, I haven’t went that far yet but I know I will eventually.
All I know that really surprised me is I’d been disgusted with nothing phone 1 constantly rebooting for no reason since an update (still does it).
When I complained on a reddit sub about it I got a ton of replies saying it’s normal and not as bad as the pixel phones.
I’ve nowhere to go with that people are defending a completely unstable buggy phone and I’ve owned half a dozen androids before that and never seen any of them just randomly restarting.
Hps one of only two companies that will never get a penny from me again. I had an HP desktop that the power supply died on at the beginning of Covid only then did I realise it was propriety and they didn’t even have it in stock.
Kept checking for about a year and couldn’t get a replacement when every other computer I’ve ever owned I could have bought a power supply the same damn day.
For the record the other company is Sony who just decided to delete my account with a lot of paid games because I hadn’t logged in for about 6 months.
Imessage is garbage, nobody cares.

I hate Android updates mostly as Google seems to want to restrict it down to Ios levels recently.
They seem determined to make it hard to use emulators and to kill off apps like tasker… My latest experience has also been soured by having a nothing phone were every update seems to introduce more issues and not even attempting any bug fixing or optimisation it’s turned what was a pretty good phone originally into a constantly rebooting pos.
Blokada overrides the dns to its own and even then I don’t see how dns is at all relevant because it blocks the update server from being connected with.
I’m on 14 but to be honest the only difference I really noticed is GTA Vice City got broken by it I presume it will never be fixed since they seem to have done another version.
So yeah it’s really only taught me not to buy apps again I’m not a fan of the restricted folder/file manager restrictions either.
