I had this discussion recently and my friend pointed out that this also happens with utility workers on in-house visits, I guess cause of the demand there is on their work. At least where I live.
But I can’t take it with doctors man. Also it’s the only business where you can pay to get insulted or diminished, yet not diagnosed, repeatedly from different specialists (true story)

I too entered the twilight zone when I noticed something in my discord servers. I’m not in many servers, but I had subscribed in an AI image creation server called BlueWillow. So one day the icon was different, resembling a lime… It took me a while to understand what’s happening.

Greece! I was exaggerating a bit, I was talking about OBGYNs. But there are 5-10 available doctors per month in a 1mil people province for example, so people tend to just go private.
Dentists are completely off the table, of course.

Interestingly, the Romans called the Greeks Grekili , a degrading term, signifying they were fallen, decadent and servile. This is thought to be because allegedly the Greeks were not fans of straightforward battle, but preferred other tactics like ambushes and night-attacks.
