I’m at a loss for words at how long it took me to figure out what this is
I have the same issue with Java. Oracle JDK, Open JDK or some other weird distribution? Enteprise Servers or a Framework like Springboot? It’s always easier if you’re familiar with the technology.
Even a benevolent dictator is still a dictator.
Not sure Bukele is a dictator. We’ll know once there are new problems to solve that might require a new leader
At the current moment, for practical applications, I agree. But at what point does an idea become worth investigating? Maybe a Sci-Fi screenwriter wants to have a futuristic but theoretically possible transport system between colonies on a moon with low gravity or sth
Would this work better, if the “train” were so long that it would always be in contact with at least 2 rings? Also assuming that the rings are passive and the active components would be entirely on the train itself, similar to the Chūō Shinkansen. Either way, this is even more unrealistic than building a tube in the sky as a continuous guideway aka Hyperloop

This meme makes no sense without knowing the other post that shows this connector as a double sided USB micro B connector
That makes no sense, considering that our numbers stem from Arabic numbers
Tbh, I stopped caring about Stackoverflow. I never even dared to ask a question ever since I’ve gotten more used to working in programming and have just been using it like reddit as the top search result
It kind of did though. California HSR isn’t doing very hot in the court of public opinion last time I heard about it
For the rest of his life?? How the fuck would this even be enforceable?
I was so confused by that title. Thank you for clarifying!
Fair enough. They might just use autocorrect wrong, idk
It might come from languages like German where nouns are capitalized. Even in English proper nouns are capitalized so I don’t see why that bothers you so much
In theory, yes but if you use a good password manager and have a strong master password the encryption should be practically impossible to break. The fact that you only have to remember one password means that this password can and should be a very strong one. 20+ characters with upper and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols should take centuries to crack.
I guess so, though I imagine the 3D cache of the 5800X3D might benefit the workload of this game specifically
I’ve the same GPU but way older CPU (3900X) and could play for 3h without issues yesterday. I noticed that the game is using multithreading way better than C:S 1. All cores of my CPU were used equally which made me think that the technical foundation seems to be solid, just too demanding for the average gaming PC. I’m on openSUSE btw
Literally me… I’ve 5/7 of these installed and even have Threema in addition. I don’t need more than one Meta Inc product in my life though
