He definitely doesn’t look like it.

He definitely doesn’t look like it.

he could, tho
Yeah, the first time. After Goku trains in the 100x gravity room in the heaven spaceship, I seriously doubt it.

Thanks, will definitely take a look!
Edit: Even with the “coupons” on AliExpress, it’s still ~$20 more than the advertised $57 intro price on the site ($75 all-in). Unfortunately I think it’s just a tease price, and they are hiding some of the cost in shipping.

I was very strongly considering buying one of these, but the shipping is nearly an additional 40% of the price of the console.

Pretty sure that’s a jailable offense there.

Unelected acting president Stephen Miller announcing new xenophobic extralegal citizenship rules while Trump takes a nap. This timeline is just awesome.

“Look, everyone is using YouTube Music! We are successful and smart!” [because we shut down Google Play Music and forced users to install YouTube Music, and measured the stats before they all uninstalled it]

“Ask me again in 5 minutes.”
Sounds like he and AI deserve each other, and he should probably just start a new company with just him and AI to do all the work without those inefficient employees. In fact, he should ask AI if it’s a good idea. If there’s anything he’s unsure about, AI could reassure him to go for it.

The depressing thing is he will never pay for his crimes. He could go to jail tomorrow, be put in solitary or on a chain gang for the rest of his life, and still not come close to paying back what he destroyed or stole - whether money, institutions, trust, standing, etc.
And many people would even accept that devil’s bargain, if they could push all consequences in their life to the end when they’re decrepit and demented, but do whatever they want until then. But he won’t even give us that, and instead will tear the world apart to never face a single consequence, reflecting and amplifying all the consequences due to him back to us.

I love using styling, bullets, first-letter capitalizing titles, and being as organized as I can be. I want to think of the reader and how I can make it easier for them, and now all the things that make it easier for them are reasons they have not to trust me.
This sucks.

Since AI has poisoned the space for professional writing, and for slang, gibberish is the only thing we have left.

AI told me we can do it!

If it makes you feel better, I’m sure someone in Google got the promotion they so desperately needed.

If you watch a full podcast (he has done a ton in the last couple weeks), he clearly identifies AI as not a mere hype technology, as something interesting and potentially useful from a technology perspective, and he definitely doesn’t conflate a chatbot with all AI. That doesn’t undermine the vast problems with it, how it’s being used against regular workers, the threat the bubble poses to the economy, the criti-hype cycle, etc.
I think you’re oversimplifying “Cory Doctorow” based on the article you’re reading or specifically how he presents a more complex idea to different audiences.
Watch the Jon Stewart podcast interview if you want more nuance:

Yeah, I really don’t understand.
I’m pretty left from an ideological perspective - universal free healthcare, state-owned or funded basic necessities, food and safety nets, guaranteed worker protections, eliminate billionaires and restore sane worker wages through sane tax and maximum employee/ceo pay multipliers, public-funded childcare services, free or nearly-entirely state-funded tuition through at least college. That cost is a drop in the bucket compared to what we spend on war and pork barrel. And the way you get there is by taking steps toward it to eventually get there.
If one’s position is all-or-nothing or that democrats are ineffectual so they’re equally bad and therefore we must oppose both, that’s basically saying to move from point A to point B, we must teleport rather than walk or drive or take the train. That ensures we never get there… because that metaphorical teleportation is fiction, and no, setting the world on fire doesn’t magically create incentives or conditions that in any way help discover teleportation.

Their belief is probably just that his very Muslim-sounding name and chanting “socialist” is enough for them to propagandize his general election bid and scare off enough closet racists in the center.
I wish I could be confident that that won’t work. But as Trump proved, propaganda can work and work well, and anti-Muslim sentiment has been a daily staple for Fox News and the right for decades. I just hope that people surprise me.

I’m reading this comment section and shaking my head.
I mean, Democrats deserve a lot of crap, and I have and will continue to give them crap, but we’re in primary season. I seriously don’t get the nihilism and defeatism about a primary. If you want any option in the general, now’s your time to vote for who you actually want the most.
How did NYC get Mamdani? Was it burning our vote or discouraging people from voting because the establishment Dems and billionaires wanted freaking Cuomo, and woe is us because the fix is in? No, it was taking a stand and believing that you can make it happen.
We’ll have different debates in the general since I’m sure progressives won’t win every primary. But right now is the time to send Santa your wish list and stop dooming.

While this might be a typo, it could also refer to Apple’s idea, which is referenced earlier in the sentence.
Republicans: Yes, oooh, we know this one. Is it, manipulate him to doing what you want while publicly refusing to question him so you remain in his favor?
