Hummm, Don’t get me wrong I like the command line when I work on my GUI-less server, but a video player to run through the command line on a daily drive desktop with GUI and everything?

This seems a bit overkill and useless no? I mean when I’m on my desktop I just want to click on my media file and launch it right away.

Maybe I’m not the target audience and it’s focus is more entitled to people working in the video industry and needs more granular tweaking with specific media files? Scripts?

Or Am I missing something here?

  • Last time I saw them, I was filled with infinite inner white light power and joy. So hard to explain that I didn’t even tried, because I was sure nobody would understand.

So powerful I couldn’t keep my eyes closed, so bright and colorful and the patterns infinitly beautiful.

The CEV mandala patterns are amazing, but the fractal patterns are on another level, and You can really feel how they ARE on another level, plane of comprehension.

    What a blissful experience !

  • I’m thinking of 2 3 issues here.

Either your file had the propertie flag --forced-display-flag for the audio track 1 and this would force the audio 1 to play even if you changed the flag-default with mkvpropedit. In that case you have no other choice to remux your file with mkvmerge and change the flag to --forced-display-flag 1:no (if it’s the audio track 1) I have no idea why someome would force an audio track…

Or you didn’t used the --edit track:s1 flag with the flag-default propertie, which uses mkvmerge under the hood. Reading through my notes there is a superuser.com link talking specifically about that, and how it could fuck up your tracks order if you don’t use the track flag.

Edit: This is only true if your player is capable to select the audio based on the flag default or forced. Otherwise you have to remux the file and change the order of tracks with the --track-order flag with mkvmerge. This could be the case for Plex, you can probably find that info in the plex documentation !

Edit2: Plex seems to use both but I would suspect plex or bad flags being the culprit here rather than mkvtools.

  • Just chiming in, sorry for my bad english.

Your comments are filling me with sadness and despair. You must be the kind of person who years ago warned about all this and most people just laught or called you some creepy tin-foilhat conspiracist. :/

The internet is changing very fast and not for the good. It’s somehow comparable what’s going on everywhere in the world… Greedy oppressors who only care about themselves, while millions people are suffering…

It feels somehow we have already lost…

  • Sometimes, the less you say, the better. You have to manipulate them and do not worry about if it’s bad/wrong. In the corporate world, most are just greedy assholes who don’t care about who you are.

Don’t ever lie on your resume, just make it glittery on how THEY want to see it, not how you feel about it.

It’s a sad world we are living in right now, good luck don’t ever give up !

  • So, even if they can be used medicinally and be helpful, they are a double-edged sword in that just because you’ve seen through some of your own assumptions doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve pierced the veil of the greater illusion of Maya.

I totally agree, that’s way I stated that I wouldn’t recommended it. Most of the time when you’re ready to delve into this unknown realm, It should be a personal choice with proper education and respect. Most of the time when it’s a personal choice it’s because you feel it’s the right time for yourself and not because cool-kids or some random stranger said so. It’s some strange inner calling and mysterious curiosity that draws you into.

  • Yes that’s true, that’s also one part of the process. You will face your fears, issues, anxiety and other dark things hidden somewhere in your brain.

This always has to be a personal choice and educate yourself before doing something that might go wrong.

In most case, singing, breathing will help you out… That’s way I do not encourage anyone, It’s not easy and It can hit you really hard.

  • Most people would take this as a bad advice… But psychedelics are somehow keys to unlock the “illusion”.

A psychedelic trip is more than a simple illusion or trip. Some people have a life changing experience, contact with outter space beings, travelling on other states of consciousness…

People have a tendency to see those plants as dangerous or as addictive recreational drugs. Just because the media/science/law said so, but those substances are tools to explore your inner/outer-self and they are afraid that you reconnect with your inner intuition.

This would mean no corporate greed anymore, no war, no hate speech, no money, no slaves to build their empire on our workforce…

I’m 100% sure if every one would take those substances this would shift our global consciousness to something more pure, connected to every living being on earth, and treat it with respect !

But most of us are just brainwashed ego diluated beings, divided into smaller chunks of human race. Whatever you’re, black, yellow, white, LGTBX… We all came from the same star dust, from a single point of singularity.

But yeah… that can be to much for some people and they can go crazy, specially if you have a higher ego. When your ego breaks down, you will feel empty and that can sometimes lead to mental instability, because you always thought that you were something special, when actually you are just like everyone else.

I do not encourage anyone to do it, but If you do, the most important part is to educate yourself, read great books about some erudit ethnobotanist, read the most recent studies on how they can elevate your well being, reduce your stress, addiction, and how/why those were used through history of time.

    Last words: Set & Setting
