im not advocating for things like fifa, cod or NBA, but a~15 year wait between games of the same franchise like elder scrolls is pretty ridiculous

we all know this is nonsense, right? like, the development cycles have gotten so long because theyve just decided that its better that way

this, i despise the focus on polygon and texture counts so goddamn much

games from a decade ago are still popular and still look good, can we please just focus on performance and actual mechanics

every major issue i had with the game was either a result of the dreadful launch, which i doubt they would repeat, or of what the game was trying to be, things that are fundamentally incompatible with their single player story based experiences and therefore not a concern when it comes to said experiences

howard, director of the studio is also explicitly pro modding

Bethesda knows what it has, any push towards blocking modding is going to be a decision from higher up (microsoft, zenimax)
