21·21 hours agoThe fault isn’t on the streamer. It’s on the potentially hundreds of people who don’t think about their fellow human beings before they hit “submit”. My heart goes out to Mikayla. I wish people could just be nicer to good people.
11·5 days agoTheir main account is https://lemm.ee/u/shinigamiookamiryuu but the display name is “Call Me Lenny/Leni”.
The username, shinigamiookamiryuu, was stolen from another user on DeviantArt who called them out at one point in time. https://www.deviantart.com/shinigamiookamiryuu the real shinigamiookamiryuu in the link changed their username after they realized Call Me Lenny/Leni stole it to use on Lemm.ee. They then try to gaslight people who aren’t aware of their history, saying they merely got “inspired” by the username while leaving out the context that the people they stole the usernames from either didn’t like them or called them out.
Just an fyi, the person you’re responding to is an alt of Call Me Leni, a Kiwifarms user who has been banned from 10 instances (including Beehaw) for Nazi apologia and other things. https://lemmy.ca/modlog?page=1&actionType=All&userId=1281242
They commented dozens of times in my thread about them, where they continued to double down on defending Elon Musk’s Nazi salutes and arguing that the AfD aren’t Nazis. I’ve already went and contacted the real stsnvawatchingdadie on DeviantArt about this. Signing up on other sites with the usernames of people who exposed them is part of this troll’s modus operandi.

6·20 days agoYouTube has so many ads now it’s ridiculous. Yesterday YouTube threatened me with the popup even though I have UBlock on Firefox. I’ve seen 10 ads on a 20 minute video. As if the un-skipabble 2 minute long ads that pause when you switch tabs wasn’t bad enough, YouTube is now putting ads in their Premium.
YouTube is in dire need of a big competitor and fast.

22·5 months agoThey gaslight and call any proof against them being brought up “slander” and like to portray themselves as a victim who is being targeted for no reason. They’ve been at this for literal years.
The mods/admins were fooled by the troll who took the troll’s manipulation that they’re a victim of slander and doxing.
All the info came from the troll’s posts, that are publicly available. Also this isn’t a normal troll, but a malicious troll who is transphobic, defends Nazis, tells trans and other vulnerable people to kill themselves, steals women’s selfies to catfish people, etc. It’s not “slander” as the troll likes to call it, there’s tons of links and it’s all 100% true.
The troll in the example is highly manipulative and try to paint themselves as a victim who is being targeted for no reason, but the links in the description of this video say otherwise. Those links go to comments the troll posted on their own accounts including creepy comments they made towards a boy they knew was only 14. They gaslight, guilt trip, and use other abusive tactics to get away with their malicious trolling.
The funny (and scary) thing is how many conspiracy theorists will not get the joke or realize it’s water.
