Even /r/OnlyFans was awesome in its own way
What really grinds my gears is that metadata on pictures you have in iCloud gets stripped when downloading to Windows. I take pictures of stuff for work and label them to know what the hell I’m looking at, but the descriptions disappear on file transfer.
So I gotta either:
Re-add in the description in the metadata
Label something else, like a sheet of paper or something and put it in the frame
Manually name each individual file after transfer, which is just as laborious as adding back in the metadata.
The Son of Eric must have been really good phonesmith.
Unless you renew your Premium Deluxe Air™ subscription. Oxygen As A Service.
We need an equivalent word for climate change where the line always goes up.
Gamify it. Everyone starts out with a basic setup. The organization coordinating the effort can add additional incentives. Add achievements, unlockables, larger setups, rare algaes and algae colors. Loot boxes with various supplies. Three factions that compete against each other. Leaderboards, both local and global.
It would be simultaneously competitive and cooperative towards a common goal.
Or pirate name brand cars.
You wouldn’t download a car
This is why the discriminator /s is necessary for comments like that.
First you build your miners. Then your factories. Oh no, a bottleneck. Gotta optimize. Good, let’s scale production up. More building, but then another bottleneck! Optimize.
Occasionally shoot biters because ain’t nobody got time for alien bastards ruining my optimization experience.
Yup, that’s exactly what Halon does. Displaces air and the fire is put out but so are you as well.
The industry is shifting to less toxic for suppression gases like 3M™ Novec™ 1230.
That’s some nice air you have in the server room.
It would be a shame if it were replaced with Halon-134…
The first time I heard about Brave it sounded sketchy. They replaced ads on websites with their own ads. That doesn’t seem ethical to me since they aren’t in the normal advertising chain of relationships where the website owner has an agreement with that specific advertising firm to display ads. Brave gets the revenue instead of the website owner, while the website displays content that they didn’t agree to. And the user has no say.
Very sketch.
And that they say they are sooo focused on privacy when everything that they do seems to indicate otherwise.
Where did I say that all Republicans are Nazis? Look closely, I said no such thing. I am saying that Nazis hide in the Republican ranks. There are openly white supremacist factions within the Republican Party (i.e. “Christian Identitarians”) that hide behind a veneer of civility. These groups have far greater influence in the Republican Party than ideological extremists on the left have with the Democratic Party.
Have you not been outside recently? In a lot of places it’s a friggin oven.
Why then is extremist, explicitly Nazi rhetoric so pervasive within the Republican ranks? A good example of this is the United The Right rally in Charlottesville. The Nazis present were not condemned by the leader of the Republican party at that time when it would be the easiest thing for him to do. This tacit implicit support emboldens them for future action. Any sensible President would have denounced Nazis and their actions, especially as a woman was killed as a result of their actions.
