I think it’s okay, I would have voted against it, but they really need to be careful with their website design.
The first time I went to their website, I left immediately because I got a big pop-up with 404. Tried again, same thing. Third time, I saw it was just a pop-up asking for then-optional registration.
Thankfully, they changed their pop-up design since then.
There are mods on Lemmy? Most of the subs I’ve seen have like one rule and I don’t see any mod activity. Not I believe there isn’t, but it’s my personal experience.
There are no situations except dire emergencies in which a person is not able to return their shopping cart.
It’s pretty clear to me.
Disabilities of all kinds exist. There may be some that use the cart for balance or others that can’t easily navigate places where there are cars (visual disability for example). Leaving the shopping cart at exit is easier if you get into a vehicle or mobility aid right at the exit, rather than going around.
It’s funny because I’ve seen this same post before and half the comments were about disabled people. And here I was the first.
As if disabled people didn’t exist.
I played the game last year but it was incredibly easy as an adult. I didn’t even finish it because it was too boring. I might download a mod that increases the difficulty.
The frat-bro culture of harassment and abuse started way before the merge with Activision.
Blizzard North was separate from the Irvine studio, I believe. Their Diablo 3 was in development for a while too.
But yeah, I guess that’s what people mean, the old design philosophy. But I can’t help it now. Old Blizzard seems tainted to me. At least starting from the WC3+WoW era.
Do we really want old Blizzard back?
Personally, with all that we learned about the frat-bro culture there, I don’t want it back. Hell, if it meant people didn’t get abused, I’d erase it.
Exactly this. The comics property has Skybound, but HBO seems to just be doling out the TV show licence left and right.
Good idea, I’ll put it right by “Time Person of the Year 2006”!
I’m gonna be the coolest early apocalypse victim.
Is this Reddit? With those snarky replies that misconstrue comments, it sure feels like it.
I just wrote “kids should not go to school so early.” Did I need to be more precise? Write five paragraphs to explain my ideas? I tried to keep it as short and simple as possible. I was hoping it would be enough to avoid impertinent and rude replies, looks like I was wrong.
Your tone is unwelcome. It’s possible that I wasn’t clear or that we misunderstood each other, but you didn’t need to write your initial response that way, really.
You typed this reply without seeing I actually mentioned that? I am willing to take criticism about my writing style, but don’t reply snarkily without actually reading.
Of course, fuck them cars, and children should not go to school so early.
No, it isn’t nothing. There’s been studies about it and previous experiences when winter time year-round was attempted.
In fact, keeping summer time year-round causes more accidents, particularly more child mortality, because people are in the dark when they get up during winter. Of course, fuck them cars, and children should not go to school so early. But it’s just to show that’s it’s not the same either way.
A decade and a half ago, I couldn’t even find a 24h alarm clock in Québec, Canada. I had to order one online. Even though I’d been using 24h time all my life. Thank you, anglophone neighbours.
That sounds pretty good. Particularly UTF-8 support. I hate software that takes only English into account.
It really feels like Reddit circa-2023, particularly the bad ways. Lemmy.world is the worst for that.
