Every 2-3 years I’d say. I kept my previous phone, a Samsung Galaxy A50, until its contract ran out and sold it afterwards (didn’t really like it that much tbh). I plan on using my Pixel 6 Pro for as long as possible, though.

I think it’s more accurate and less fatiguing than using the track pad. Scrolling especially feels way better, even compared to two-finger scrolling on a track pad.
The only thing that really keeps me from wanting a Framework 16 is there not being a TrackPoint keyboard available…
We still have hundreds of Latitude 5570s deployed at work and other than the occasional battery failure they’re really rock solid.
It’s a shame they don’t support Windows 11.
Believe it or not but I didn’t really encounter that many idiots in my time on Reddit. I wasn’t part of any political subs, though.
Compared to Reddit, it’s pretty empty still. On Reddit I literally never saw a post twice on my subscribed feed.
Now I’m subscribed to roughly the same number of communities and it takes 2-3 days for my feed to completely renew… Many of the subreddits I used to frequent still don’t even exist on Lemmy, despite them being pretty popular over on Reddit.
I’d watch these but I’m afraid of being very disappointed when they turn out not to be narrated by Sam O’Nella…
I’d rather have a remaster of the first game, none of the sequels were that good.
They need to remake more GameCube games in general. So many underappreciated games…
Can I choose how this hypothetical robot maid looks? If yes, I’m totally going for a real life Chibi-Robo.
I’ve never been fond of smart home systems or IoT devices in general; they make you lazier, waste electricity and more often than not pose big security risks. It doesn’t even really simplify things that much if you think about it.
Vending machines over here usually only stock junk food, unfortunately.
I occasionally get chocolate bars or cookies from them when I’m on break and not in the mood to enter a supermarket.
Let’s see…

Waffles, 100%. Just by themselves without anything sugary on them.
I’ll give it a try. Thanks!
Sounds pretty interesting, gonna have to look into it. Thanks!
Where would I get an invite link for that?
Edit: Got it, it’s in the main page’s sidebar
I don’t know why, but part of me really wants to have that book…
Plushies are great, I have a couple as well
Most of my desktop wallpapers come from r/earthporn on Reddit, on mobile I like to use stuff I found on r/art. Here’s a few that I’m using right now.
But I have a rather large collection of wallpapers sourced from all over the place like Reddit, various artboards, different operating systems, archived websites etc…
