Every madcatz controller I’ve used has been terrible. Xbox, Dreamcast, and PSone. Just terrible.

The Dreamcast had a keyboard for Typing of the Dead, but iirc they also had one similar to the pic I posted for Phantasy Star online.
I tried the first game years ago and couldn’t click with it. I should try again.
Fallout 76. Got hooked after watching the show and went through the previous 3d games back to back. Also bought Undertale but haven’t fully committed to that one yet.
VATS build with Deliverer pistol in FO4 is OP as hell. Almost to the point it’s boring.
Play all the fallout games. V.A.T.S. doesn’t care if you suck at aiming.
Only half joking. I played all but the 1, 2, and Tactics on steam deck and it worked out decently. Didn’t even bother using the touchpad aiming because it felt worse to me than the analog stick.
I played a little bit last night and had a bit of difficulty avoiding things with my “heart”. Do you use the analog stick or the touchpad? I’ll have to play with control settings tonight and see if I can not die so fast. :)
I haven’t! I’m excited to see what’s in store.
I did not know that. Might have to double dip. I have it on switch, but encouraging Linux game ports with my wallet seems worthwhile. Plus it wouldn’t be the first time I bought a second copy of a game…
Same
Ok that game actually looks pretty sick. Never heard of it before.
Oh that’s a great idea. I’ll have to try that. I did notice that I need to use the tall buttons that come with the Jsaux brand clear back shell. I have long fingers so they rest on the back of the deck, past the buttons. Tried the mediums and same issue, couldn’t trigger the buttons easily. And the stock ones are really difficult for me to activate at all.
I’m trying that on FO4 right now. Instead of clicking in left stick, I mapped it to R4. Seems more natural than holding down the click on stick that you’re also using to move directionally.
Oh…Crosscode, first game mentioned so far that I actually play. Interesting. I’ll have to try that out. Thanks!
Does Valheim still cause the fan to go crazy or did they further optimize on the deck? I admittedly haven’t tried it since right after buying the thing.
Yeah, this was the only thing I could think of as well. But I haven’t played an MMO since City of Heroes, or SW: Galaxies, whichever was most recent. Don’t recall atm.
A whole bunch. After watching Fallout on Prime, I was inspired to try the series again (started and stopped both FO:NV and 4 several times in the past). I’ve played through all of Fallout 3, NV, and their DLCs, and I’m currently in the Nuka World dlc in 4. They all run fabulous on the deck. I work from home, so the thought of gaming in the very same chair I’ve been in for 8 hrs is unappealing. But lounging on the couch with my deck is fantastic!
Halls Of Torment. It’s a simple game on the surface, but has some surprising depth I wasn’t expecting that I like. Plus when you do a completely broken build and your frame rate drops because of all the damage your causing to the entire screen, it makes me laugh.
Plus killing the skeletons makes the most satisfying crunchy sound. Similar satisfaction to Vampire Survivors when you have enough garlic to “pop” enemies by walking into them.
I hope there’s a deal exploit like buying 3 years of GP for $3-4/mo by using a VPN like I did about a year ago. If not, I won’t be subscribing and will likely get rid of my series X. I’ve been very disappointed in it anyway. Oh well, still have the original and the 360…
