It’s probably just as good. When Starsan was (temporarily) banned in Europe some time ago, a tonne of different brands popped up with similar products, but much cheaper. They all work similarly and I’ve used several of them without issues.
I’d save the money and buy something else than starsan, it’s ridiculously overpriced.
I use the KNX integration, which must be configured using yaml
This is probably because of the devs behind the integration though and not the fault of HA.
I have my all my cards and dashboards defined through GUI as well, you van make plenty sophisticated interfaces without YAML. A lot of tutorials are probably not up to date with what you can do though and use YAML.
None of my custom integrations are configured with YAML anymore, they’ve all moved to the GUI. Even a couple of my templates have been made directly in the GUI.
“Not a single line of YAML” is a bit hyperbole, but the only YAML I’ve got left in my setup are a handful of custom sensors, I haven’t checked if that can now be done from the GUI. It’s around 100 lines of YAML in total or something like that. But all the home automation stuff is done purely with GUI.
There has been huge improvements on what can be done from the GUI in the last few years since I started with HA.
Maybe home assistant a few years ago…I have a fully functional setup with loads of automations and haven’t written a single line of YAML for it.
Just because I am capable of doing those things does not mean I should.
This is the crux of why so many companies, especially smaller and medium sized ones, are a hot mess. capable of << good at, but of course it’s cheaper to just get johnny to do everything.
That’s a ridiculous amount of clothes! 15 pairs of pants…WTF!?
I have 5 t-shirts for private use, 2 for work, 3 shirts, 2 pairs of pants and maybe 10 pairs of socks…
Technically the only thing you’re allowed to fiddle with, while driving, is what you can operate from the steering wheel. You’re not supposed to fiddle with radio, AC etc. from the center console while driving even if it’s physical buttons.
I know people don’t drive like this, but you’re only allowed to take your hands off the steering wheel for changing gears if driving a manual, otherwise it’s two hands on there at all times…technically
on-device processing is still a thing
Unfortunately even if this is initially processed locally, there’s a significant risk that results and/or samples are still sent back. manufacturers have shown on multiple occasions that the allure of data they can leverage is too much to resist.
I got “everyone else’s life has ups and downs, mine is just up, up, UP!” from the graphs 🤷♂️
I mean like i said, I have never even seen it used before, in any context, so this is only my initial impression of the name.
You use “soy” as a negative appendix to something, soy is Asian in origin (I think?), which is why I perceived it initially as a racist slur.
I thought it was a racist slur for Asian devs…never heard the term soyboy before, but would have assumed racist slur as well.
So do I, for a few days. If I haven’t read it by then, I’ll either bookmark for later or just close. I pretty much never have more than 10-15 active tabs ever.
I like to be in control of what gets closed and when, so nothing gets closed before I bookmark it if need it.
Yeah it’s a bit weird with FF, I just purge open tabs for unnecessary tabs daily.
I bookmark stuff I need at a later time, or will need again, and read the stuff I want to read now and close the tab when I’m done.
It’s just kind of sucks that updates consistently breaks banking apps and other stuff relying of passing safetynet. Every time I update I have to do the Magisk workaround again which is really annoying.
What kind of psychopath has that many tabs open!?
Love…bucket loads of pure love
The heating is actually done from underneath this layer I think? I wouldn’t worry too much. Clean it so the surface is relatively smooth and try it. If things are messed up, I guess you’d need a replacement from anycubic, but I would try with this one first.
You’re just making it
worsebetter.
