More conservative hypocrisy

We might not be friendly territory for very long. The right wing propaganda machine has reached all corners of the world. Very real chance the cons win this next election.

It’s because of social media. It creates echo chambers. People prone to hate, greed, or just stupid people, tend to flock to certain echo chambers. I think it’s by design. Silicon valley wants this right wing dystopia.

Don’t come to Canada. The us is gonna take us over soon. Go to Europe.

Starting to look this way

That’s different. Not only was the us way less advanced back then, they also had a way bigger logistics problem to solve because it was half way across the world. Niger wasn’t a full scale war. And maybe you’re right, maybe we could do some kinda insurgency or gorilla warfare. But that doesn’t exactly sound like a walk in the park either. Also, canadians are soft. We live in a first world country completely removed from any kind of war or suffering. We aren’t going to fight back unless they give us a reason to. If it’s bloodless and our lives don’t change much, it’s more then likely we will have wounded pride but will just go back to normal. I’m sure some will fight, but I don’t think those types are common here. We are more like Americans than we want to admit. Fat, lazy, complacent, and stupid.

We have 1/10th your population and economy. We have a tiny military in comparison with outdated technology. It would be laughably easy for you to take us over. Yeah, maybe the rest of the world joins in, or maybe they just let it happen. You guys are the preeminent military force on earth. I could see it happening without any resistance from our allies. I bet that it woudl lead to the collapse of nato. In fact, I bet it ends the way that putin had hoped for Ukraine. Even an under ground resistance would be weak since you guys are right next door. The logistics of a full scale invasion would be simple for your guys. Honestly at this point i don’t think there is a lot preventing it from happening. Trump has made it clear he isn’t going to follow the law. He has also made it clear that he is willing to do extreme things. At this point I think it’s a matter of what is easiest for him. Collapse us economically so we join willingly or a military invasion. I think the reason he picked the first is because it’s easier.

Look up curtis yarvin, Peter thiel, Marc andreeson. They along with jd Vance and elo musk all subscribe to a similar ideology which I think is what is in store for you guys. I’m hoping it doesn’t reach us here, but I’m pretty sure it will since it’s almost a guarantee that we will be annexed. Looking at moving to another continent but I don’t know which one is actually safe anymore. Maybe Australia?

But would they? I’m sure they’d disagree but I don’t think they’re gonna rise up and try to fight against the military. We’d get steam rolled and the world would just sit and watch. Sure they’d be mad, but in the end, the us military is #1 without any actual competitors other than China who is fixated on Taiwan and at the same time hates us anyway.

Say what you want about how many Americans disagree with Trump blah blah blah, when it comes down to it, Trump could invade us tomorrow and throw us into concentration camps and enough Americans would be behind it that he could get away with it. I don’t see how canada doesn’t become annexed by the us within the next few years. I doubt the Republicans will ever lose power of the government again, so this is pretty much our future. I’m thinking of moving but I doubt I can convince my wife to come with me. Plus our house is here. Not sure if I sell it before the us comes and steals everything.

Not gonna lie, china felt like the enemy a few months ago. Now they feel like the sane alternative to being allies with the us. Not saying they are the good guy, but certainly better than the us is.

So how likely do you think it is the US comes back from this? Like it honestly does look like the collapse of western civilization is happening right now. Europe is almost in all out war with Russia and even if that doesn’t happen, more and more countries over there are electing the far right. America is about to invade all of its allies and even if they don’t do it, their diplomatic reputation has been completely shattered. No matter what way you look at it, this does seem like the end of western civilization. What comes after I think is already known. It will be the silicon valley take over plus whatever project 2025 is.

Well, fuck your politicians for being useless cunts. They should have seen this coming. We all did. We knew he was gonna win and to think he of all people would respect the position he is in is ludicrous. Now I’m gonna get invaded or have my economy crashed at best.

This is how I see it. My nature is conservative but I constantly see how conservative politicians are the worst and most evil people in our society. They take my naturally fearful and anxious nature and attempt to twist it into anger and hate so that I vote for them. But the mask is lifted at this point. I honestly don’t know what I believe in anymore or what to think other than that any conservative politician is going to be at best a useful idiot for some billionaire and at at worst a dangerous power hungry narcissist committed to the destruction of any law or person that stands against him. Truly awful people. Not to say liberals are perfect, but at least there is some sense of duty in what they do. They at least want to make things better. I don’t always agree with them, but i trust them. I don’t trust conservatives anymore and don’t know why I ever did.

How is it that Trump is able to so easily dance circles around lawyers and politicians and move around the law without actually breaking it? How are career politicians outmaneuvered by this guy? What the fuck are you guys paying them for? I feel like people who’s whole career has been politics or law should know how to beat this guy. Or at least been able to stop him somehow at some point along the way. It’s almost as if they let him become president because even the people who are supposed to be opposed to him benefit from him in some way or their benefactors do.

Yeah but eventually it becomes impossible for other people to get their own capital other than their labor. At that point is it really capitalism anymore are evolution into something else?

That and there’s probably a lot of other ways you have made purchases without even knowing. My point is that don’t beat yourself up over not doing a full boycott. The fact that you’re doing what you’re doing will have an impact pretty big already. If enough people are like you, even if they aren’t perfect, will have a huge impact.
