  • You took the ACTION of putting on garb that says your religion is above everything else

Incorrect assumption. A dominant religion in any given society will influence cultural and societal norms. Sometimes, perhaps even more often than not, the reason for wearing religious clothing is social conformity. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the wearer is a fundamentalist or even religious at all. There are even atheists who wear religious clothing just because the community they belong to excepts them to do so and they don’t want to stand out (applies to all genders). And that’s just one of several possible reasons other than the one you assumed to be the only possible explanation.

Please put a NSFW tag on this. I was on the train and when I saw this I had to start furiously masturbating. Everyone else gave me strange looks and were saying things like “what the fuck” and “call the police”. I dropped my phone and everyone around me saw this image. Now there is a whole train of men masturbating together at this one image. This is all your fault, you could have prevented this if you had just tagged this post NSFW.

  • Correct me if I’m wrong (I’ve never left a Steam review before), but isn’t the way Steam reviews work is that you either leave a thumbs up or a thumbs down? There doesn’t seem to be any rating scale. The “score” displayed on this page is presumably based on the ratio between positive and negative reviews, and the only thing it tells you is that about 90% of players aren’t convinced that whatever the game has to offer earnes it a recommendation, not that they all thought it deserved a 1 out of 10.

  • Oh, I didn’t notice it’s dead. I just had it bookmarked because I remember spending a lot of time trying all sorts of workarounds before it and none of them ever worked (for CTS).

I used this for Android 11; there’s a good chance it’ll still work for that version. But like I said, I ended up not needing it anyway - my phone doesn’t even have NFC! I think I mostly just did it as a FU to Google rather than for actual utility. :D

Just thought it worth mentioning that there are/were workarounds for CTS. Don’t know how things are now on Android 12 and 13.

  • The best thing I ever did with that one used Chromebook I bought was install Gallium OS on it. I ended up with a fully functioning laptop that was able to fulfill my mobile computing needs for $50. It’s a shame Gallium got discontinued. ChromeOS was very primitive and restrictive when I tried it 5 or 6 years ago, but you say they even support Steam now, so apparently they’ve made some improvements. Still wouldn’t want to use it over a Linux distro like Gallium that would let me have full control of the device, though.

In case anyone reading this is interesting in alternatives to ChromeOS, more info can be found here: https://mrchromebox.tech/#alt_os
