Actually, this town has more than enough room for the two of us
Wait, again?
Sounds eventful, but glad to have you back!!!
Not to my knowledge so far.
This may be stupid, but former manchildren that got their shit together. How do I start with that process? Two things in particular come to mind, If there’s anything I should prioritize, anywhere to start I’d love hear it.
It’s different for everyone, but I will always recommend deleting most, if not all social media (the endless scrolls at least), working out, getting good sleep, eating healthier, and focusing on tiny improvements daily. You may be more than fine on any or all of those categories, though, but everyone’s “fine” is different.
The little metric improvements you track really make a huge difference in mental health.
How do you find a good fitting career path? I have no idea what to do and I’m running out of time but everyone and their mother seems to be able to disregard all life possibilities save for one as teenagers.
No idea, really. Work is going to not be fun. Think about what you’re good at, and what skills you have. There are good programming courses for free online if you want to work remote and have an in-demand skill with no idea otherwise.
I am legit an absolute bore to be around. I have no patience in learning skills, my autism makes me painful to talk to, and I’m not really interested in anything. Even anime and vidya aren’t fun anymore and I feel like a walking zombie. How do I make myself less boring of a person? How do I get myself to like stuff and like doing stuff?
Try what I suggested earlier, sounds like you’re over-stimulated.
Why do my partner and I always get sick around critical events
Genuinely surprised at just how racist this piece of shit is, going boldly into new levels of
im really enjoying it so far, if enjoyment is supposed to make your blood boil.
This is why I’ve learned to alternate between fiction and theory when reading
(I’m not trained in enough physics to know, shhhh)
Good post! Generally, these people critique leftists from the perspective of an Ultraleftist, but give the absolute most benefit of the doubt for liberalism. They haven’t confronted their internal biases nearly as much as they need to. It’s like finding a secret door, but thinking there are no more secret doors beyond it!
Yep, that’s the one I see most often. They think that because Leftists nearly always oppose the west, they think that that is the logic behind it. Kinda like gravity, it’s incredibly easy to see that it exists, but to explain it? Very difficult, if you aren’t trained in Physics! It becomes a thought-terminating cliche, consistent views must mean they are simple, and simple views must be wrong.
Literally what not reading theory does to someone.
I think this is more a matter of course when you don’t have the internet. Correct ideas among generally aligned people are more important when you’re already generally aligned, Lenin’s target audience wasn’t really right-wingers.
It’s an artifact of time, you see constant leftist infighting even now, because it is easier to get impassioned about people who mostly agree with you than it is to get impassioned about people entirely divorced from your worldview and conclusions.
Reading Imperialism right now, and he still rags on Kautsky, Lenin’s such a petty dude
Like, I understand and agree, but Lenin would have absolutely been a reverse Ben Shapiro if he lived in our era, it’s great
Certain bourgeois writers (now joined by Karl Kautsky, who has completely abandoned the Marxist position he had held, for example, in 1909)
The pure hatred Lenin has for Kautsky is fucking hilarious to me
Free Palestine.
Sad to see. Definitely an L, hopefully this is temporary and not indicative of trends.
