Right now I’m almost done with Control, before it I finished Red Dead Redemption 2. While I had a lot of fun with RDR2, the ~80 hour runtime for a single playthrough almost drove me to hate it near the end. Probably going for Psychonauts 2 next, or some short 4-5 hour games, maybe Deltarune.
Funny enough, I did used to be a V60 person, and I did used to be an anarchist, haha. Though I’m ML now and there are no lever/manual espresso machines listed up there, so it doesn’t match anymore. Looks like the aeropress is also missing, that’s another big one.
Yep, I never seem to be able to pick long games back up.
I’ve tried something similar, but it cut my game completion rate way down. Might have to play around with the variables a bit.
The “I can’t play a new game until I finish my current game unless I plan on never picking it up again” rule I made for myself has pushed me to clear dozens of games from my backlog, but wow do longer games end up feeling like a chore towards the end. It feels like I may need to adjust my rule a bit to account for length without losing momentum.

17·6日前No, the world would be better off. The US Empire is the millitaristic power destorying peoples lives around the world, not China of all countries, not Russia either. The death toll from the US Empire is absolutely towering over every other country in existence right now.

This is wrong. From beginning to end. The US Empire is a blight on the world, it functions through brutal extraction of wealth in the Global South. The US Empire was not moving in a positive direction, tell that to Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Iran, Palestine, Cuba, Chile, everyone the US has terrorized for profit. The “aid” provided by the US comes with clauses requiring total capitulation to US capital, the US isn’t ending starvation, it creates reliance on US foodstuffs to hyper-exploit the global south.
Trump is not unique. Trump is not a special calamity. Trump is “special” in that he doesn’t play coy or try to hide the way the US Empire acts, he just says it and brags about it.
Trump both represents the US Empire and the worst people on the planet, because its the same. The world wants the US Empire to finally go the way of Rome and collapse. I am a US citizen, it’s the historic task of the US working class to finally end this genocidal settler-colony so that a more just Socialist society can take its place.
