Would be incredibly funny to see implemented well.

Taking steps to play a more active role in organizing! Been doing things mostly passively while still doing enough to not feel like I’m sitting on my hands, but I wanted to take it a step further.

It’s the XTEink X3, with Crosspoint! All button based, no backlight, but 3.7" screen so it disappears in your pocket! Not too expensive compared to other eReaders.
I have an older Kobo with KoReader installed, and I adore it, but it’s too big to replace scrolling on my phone. I keep it on my nightstand now, and just bought the XTEink X3, threw Crosspoint on it, added the Atkinson Hyperlegible font and added some ebooks from Anna’s Archive, Standard Ebooks, and Comrade’s Library.
The XTEink X3 has no backlight and is incredibly small, but it’s also incredibly convenient. The UI is harder to work with as it’s all button-based, though. It’s also much cheaper than the Kobo.
If you want one, and you are the type that prefers long reading sessions, Kobos can be great when bought secondhand! Otherwise I am loving the XTEink I got to help my reading.
Got one of those micro-ereaders from China, threw on community software and custom fonts, some epubs, and am now flying through reading! Very good way to kill my nasty doomscrolling habit.
