Used to play Apex Legends a lot, so could give some reasons why.

A core part of Apex’s monetization is “keep the core gameplay F2P accessible and make super expensive skins for those who can pay”. The game would put items worth around 300$ multiple times in a single season. After that as long as the gameplay’s solid; F2P players wouldn’t find a reason to not play; and whales could flex their 300$ death box to all these players interacting with them. Hell, give F2P players tasks that take too long to unlock new skins; and maybe they’ll toss a few bucks in too. You’ve got yourself a neat money loop, and players are happy.

As for cheating; most people i see cheating does it as a way of doing the unexpected in a video game. Cheating is not enjoyable to most if you do it all the time; but the cheat providers offer cheats with shorter time spans to hook the people that want to do just that. I recall an interview done with a cheat developer for a different yet similarly popular game, and they’ve said most of their sales come through these.

That would’ve hit hard if they didn’t got my EA Account stolen via fraudulent support tickets a few months ago.

lmao, to think this game costed four times as much as APB is crazy. That game was the definition of “publisher throwing money at a single project until something fun comes out” and it was fun. How do you not accomplish that at four times APB’s budget?

The list of weird site bans by turkish government goes quite long.

Wikipedia, Minecraft, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter have been previously blocked but aren’t at the moment.

Pastebin and Threads still is blocked.

Ace Attorney is a classic that has been remastered all the way up to PCs, would reccomend it.

Unlike other game engines, godot’s open source nature allows this; but not sure if people behind the fork will put in some actual innovation on top of the engine instead of lmaoforking.

Krita and GIMP are some solid options.

It’s important to note that South were the ones refusing unification with North Cyprus first; a referandum was held in both countries to unify both countries as one, where North Cyprus had the majority vote to unite but South Cyprus didn’t.

I was browsing a certain cheat market forum to see how fast would the new GTA 5 anticheat would get bypassed.

6 hours. It took 6 hours for the first cheat, other mod menus soon came rolling down and its back to square one.

I think the problem is uncreativity in adding those characteristics. There exists characters that are well written and LGBT; however being it alone shouldn’t define a character just by that; similar to shouldn’t be able to define a character “just a male” or “just a female”.

It’s pretty much a class based shooter with old COD style gunplay with no SBMM.

Jokes aside, I experimented with making my own pi handheld, but didn’t gave me the same satisfaction as I did emulate those games on my phone.

Discord being a US based company lets FBI access to its data much more directly. While TikTok still provides this data, them not being US based ticks off FBI, because there is the chance of chinese government interfering with the legitimacy of data that TikTok would provide. On China, the state has much more control over the companies than US.

The US can’t even deal with a billionaire buying up a social media platform and influence elections; but China can collapse any company’s success at a whim. Changing a legal data request from another country is certainly something they can do if China demands it.

I would’ve been ok with it if they didn’t portray Yasuke as a samurai; because he literally wasn’t. If you’re representing a country’s history; taking an unqualified person’s fanfic as source material is really fucking dumb.
