You also don’t have a 50% chance the comment you’re replying to is from a bot and copy and pasted either from that post, another random post, or even the original post that a repost bot stole posted snd you are now commenting on. Reddit is a bot riddled mess.

I’m attempting to set up a self hosted instance so that I can control who I’m Federated with or not. Probably will just keep it open though, and I’d have to be a real asshole to get my instance defederated anywhere lmao.

If Lemmy continues to get more popular and more 3rd party reddit app devs make Lemmy apps like what RiF is doing that’ll probably have a lot of people satisfied. I like Jebroah but I’d definitely love to see Baconreader for Lemmy.
Yea I remember at first everyone was so excited and then they decided to absolutely destroy what made that app good.
I live in a rural area and don’t keep valuables in my car so mine stays unlocked at home. That plus I’d rather someone open my door, prowl through and find nothing then have a broke window because if they wanna steal my car it’s a 1989 so it’s easy af to start with no key so and they want it it’s gonna be gone.
