I’ve tried but for some reason, I can never get them set up correctly and I’m not technologically illiterate. Its been a while since I tried it though since Floorp just works.
The biggest pro for me is the vertical tabs. It’s got the same vertical tabs that Edge has which are great. I only use Edge at work but it’s great especially when you have a web based production environment like nCino that you work in all day and have dozens of tabs open. You can group them up nicely and keep yourself organized. Floorp is based off of Firefox ESR so it’s on an older build (but up to date security). The current build is based off FF 115 while FF is on 129 now.
Because they’ve set up a false quandry. They’re setting it up as a three option problem with no other options.
a. Use a Windows desktop to game because they prefer mouse and keyboard unless Steam comes out with a desktop. b. Use a Steam Deck with mouse and keyboard but it has alleged poor support for that and isn’t viable (I’m saying alleged because I’ve never used a Steam Deck though my son has one). c. Use SteamOS and hope it has better keyboard and mouse support than the OS on the Steam Deck.
Those aren’t your only options. You could also.
d. Use pretty much any other Linux based distribution on a desktop and install the Steam app on it. Why would you need a Steam based OS? Clearly they don’t have a problem running Steam as an app in Windows, why not do the same on Linux?
So much for that unity message, huh?
But seriously, I think they just call every woman a whore that has any sort of power or station in life because they have zero respect for women. It’s not that they think all women are whores, its that they don’t thin women have any intelligence or skills and so to become someone with that kind of power, they must just be sleeping their way to the top. How else could they get that job/position?
Love Joan Jett, especially as an Orioles fan. She was the guest splasher at the O’s game the other week. Said she has the MLB At-Bat app up during her concerts to keep an eye on the Orioles score as well. She’s just the best.
Go to about:config - find option browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab - set to false. If you’re only using the close tab button, it will never close out of the program. If you’re closing a lot of windows using the window control though that won’t really help.
They also employees who will clean up feces that are in the aisle but that doesn’t mean you should take a shit on the floor in the produce section.
Leaving carts in the spaces blocks access to spaces, leaves carts that can be blown into parked spaces, and causes extra work for employees. Just walk your cart back. Spoiler: if you don’t want to walk far, just park next to the cart return. It’s not that hard.
I don’t have a problem with the handy at the musical. I have a problem that it was over the pants. Like you’re not in high school anymore. You’re a damn grandmother. Act like it.
Have mine sitting in a dish on my desk right in front of me. It’s what I use to pop off our Arlo doorbell to bring inside to charge it back up when the batteries are low.
Just looks like a second confederate flag to me.
I work at a credit union where we deal with a lot of smaller investors and many of them have properties where they aren’t breaking even on a cash flow basis. But they are using the losses to lower their taxable income while building equity elsewhere. They are (from tenants I’ve heard from) good landlords. Lately we’ve been dealing with a lot of realtors that are buying up properties and that just doesn’t sit well with me so I’m looking to change careers and get more into C&I and CRE rather than SFR investments. Being able to cash out 7.25 weeks of accrued vacation time I haven’t been able to take too is a big plus.
But at this point, what kind of care are they actually going to get if they’re too poor to move. They’re fucked either way because God forbid we help people in need.
What do you mean you can’t drink ice coffee without a straw?
The OP complaining about their mobile provider not having free tethering. Like brother, you knew that when you signed up for the service (or you should have if it was an important thing you needed). It’s not meant to replace a home internet connection. If you need a sizeable amount of hotspot, don’t skimp on your mobile plan.
Like I can understand being annoyed that you have to pay more for it but it shouldn’t be a surprise that you don’t have access to it. Learn what you’re paying for before you sign up for it. If your internet goes out and you need to rely on it, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that you don’t have it.
Don’t assume companies are going to do what’s best for you. They won’t. They will try to screw you over. So, understand what services you’re paying for and if they don’t meet your requirements, find something else. I’m not defending the companies but you should know what you’re paying for.
That’s not Google pushing that message. That’s your mobile service provider.
I don’t know. I have never tried to use my hotspot for YouTube videos. If my internet goes out, the only thing I’d use the hotspot for would be working from home if that was needed. There’s other things to do in this world that don’t require internet. At that point you bitch at Comcast and get them to fix your shit and get credited for the lost time.
Bitching about the mobile provider that you knew the terms of the service when you signed up is misguided when the issue is that your home internet provider is not living up to their end of the agreement by not providing you with the service for which you’re paying. If you don’t know what is included in your own phone plan, that’s a you problem. Find a new provider.
With Google Fi you get 5GB of free mobile hotspot.
I have worked for the last 6.5 years at a faith based credit union ($400MM in size) despite being an atheist. All of our meetings start with a prayer. They have been good up until recently where we’ve done more and more investment real estate lending and that doesn’t sit well with me with our housing crisis in the US. Have a 3rd interview with a regional bank ($14Bn in size) to move to more C&I and CRE loans instead of single family homes. I know they are still involved in it but I’m not going to be the one writing loans on investment properties. They also do a lot of affordable housing lending and community reinvestment in distressed areas.
Something I have heard in the past but is a headphone jack that much harder to waterproof vs a USB-C port? I’m genuinely curious because I don’t know. It feels like the two would be of a similar difficulty.
