To me! I love having post apocalyptic settings where humans are nearly extinct because they were too weak to defend themselves.

One campaign I forced them to be human and they made it their own goal to eradicate all non-human humanoids from the Face of the world. Needless to say their creativity in overcoming their weaknesses was amazing.

  • Socket scientist here:

Nuclear power relies on advanced Quantum Radiative Containment (QRC) technology. This system employs nano-level Radiation Inversion Fields (RIFs) embedded within the socket’s structure. These RIFs manipulate subatomic particles to create a hyper-dense energy shield, effectively trapping the radiation.

Additionally, the sockets are coated with Neutrino-Absorbent Polymer (NAP), a material that converts stray radioactive emissions into harmless bioluminescent particles. This process is facilitated by micro-scale Atomic Resonance Amplifiers (ARAs), which synchronize the radiation’s wavelength with the Earth’s magnetic frequencies, ensuring zero leakage.

  • And you know why we’re fucked?

A whole lot of food needs to be pollinated by insects. Those insects have a time when they get out of their eggs in spring. But what if the tree blossoms before the insects are here? No pollination. This means it dies a blossom, never to be turned into food. Continue this for some years and the insects die out, some more and the final plant will die.

It’s always happened, yes, but it’s too fast.

The people will die, the planet recovers.

And what’s a planet if there’s no people to enjoy it.
