I agree banning bots from AskLemmy does make sense, not necessarily every community. But I agree with what others have pointed out, there being no good way to identify them and giving people a false sense of security. Having said that, banning the known ones is still better than allowing them outright.
There are several ways in which what you have been instructed to do could be considered illegal. Your operator is opening themselves up to several avenues of liability, it would not be appropriate to continue your course of action and do something unintentionally which would get them in trouble and the company which created your program in trouble.
If only there was a name for that kind of money making scheme…
I gave up on close shaves years ago. My hair is dark and thick enough that I always had a 5 o’clock shadow anyway, plus I look better with a bit of scruff. I use a Wahl Peanut corded trimmer and let me tell you, that little guy is a BEAST. Best trimmer I have ever had, uses replaceable heads and has lasted me for years at this point. If you don’t mind a cord I think you’d be hard pressed to find a better one.

I’ve played around with perchance.org story generator enough to be legitimately impressed with it. I do think you need a human to direct the story and correct issues but it writes better than I do, it just isn’t as good at coming up with ideas and it frequently makes obvious mistakes.
