It’s laughable to suggest they “elected a CEO and power structure”.
When/if we meet aliens, they will have evolution. And they will organize themselves in social power structures. Both are examples of basic emergent complexity properties of any such system.
So it is completely believable that AIs would form a power structure, with some form of CEO. That is just how reality works, such systems are more efficient so they happen.

Yes and no. The ability to “understand” code that makes AI capable of finding security bugs, is correlated with AI’s ability to write code. AI is just really good at code related tasks, and categorically banning all AI usage is shooting yourself in the foot.
Which is true and all. For many things.
But if I just want to decode some JSON for a computer game, it is nice to just be able to do it on a website, with no need to install anything.
Though not having to download and install a random program from the Internet, with full access to your hard disk, is often nice. When running in the browser, it is automatically sandboxed hard.

But all the good things by American tech companies whom totally respect your privacy, like Google scrapping all spirit airlines communication, or Flock camera drones, is just fine.
A nationstate, whether a autocracy or even a real democracy, does have a genuine national security interest in preventing foreign spying. No matter how much that nationstate itself spies on its own citizens.
So the argument about domestic spying existing, to argue that Chinese spying does not matter, is quite a non sequitur.

Seriously, they could have left out specifying in the title that he is a Republican, and we would still have known he was a Republican. I am not being facetious.

Biden gave Fauci a full preemptive pardon. Because everybody knew that Republicans would go after Fauci on made up bullshit.
Fauci dedicated his life to saving other peoples’ lives. Republicans are evil.

Even if there was an arrest warrant, Guantanamo is still a concentration camp and not a rule of law prison. So sending an American citizen there would still be fascism.

The humans are likely following an algorithm of approximation too. If programmed correctly, the computer would be able to try way more approximations using the same algorithm the humans use, and hence likely find a better solution.
It is of course possible to program a computer badly, so you get worse outcomes than the existing human method. But that is kinda besides the point.

done manually with huge sheets of paper and rulers. Scheduling trains is a very hard problem
Just because it is a hard problem, it doesn’t mean it is easier to do with paper and rulers than with algorithms. So the problem being “hard” should be unrelated to Sweden being behind the times.

news cycles unerring focus on Trump’s circus
The problem here is Trump making a circus, you honestly can’t blame the news media for rightfully reporting on it.

It was never really about ownership of the islands as such. The real prize is for Argentine politicians to be able to forment nationalism against an external enemy, to distract and enthuse the voters.

Opposing would be free Malvinas or something like that.
The native population of the Falklands is arguably the British people living there. Who have clearly stated their preference to remain part of Britain. While Argentina’s plan to displace and deport them, and replace them with Argentinians, is literally genocide and colonialism.
Respecting the native inhabitants’ wishes is anti-colonialism.

Shooting at civilian third party ships is not “defending yourself”.

Maybe it does, maybe it doesn’t. But what you said was not a logical scientific argument.
Marge is an awful creature but at least she stuck to what she said she believed in.
Marge is an opportunistic rat, who is abandoning the sinking ship. She is just positioning herself for the next grift,

Background: Firm Tied to Trump Donor Got No-Bid Contract to Clean Reflecting Pool and Reflecting Pool Contract Has ‘Inflated’ Profit Margin, Government Analysis Finds
So if you think $14 million is too much money for what is basically a paint job, you would be correct. Trump gave his buddy a no-bid contract at way too high a price. And it turns out they were incompetent too. Additionally, I would be surprised if Trump did not get a personal kickback from they $14 million in taxpayer dollars paid to the incompetent firm.

Also 3KB of RAM. That has to be too little.
If they were obviously democratic, like e.g. Denmark, then there would be need to them to lie about it in their name.
So it actually makes sense that non-democratic countries are more likely yo have a name claiming to be democratic.
