Except for when it comes to GOP public office holders and corporations. In both those cases Republicans support high economic support.

He is a devout Christian. People should stop mistaking “devout” for “pious”, and “Cristian” for “humane”.

Why do so many in policing circles (fbi etc.) support this kind of person? Their stated motivations are completely at odds with actions, it’s mind boggling.

B’cos deeply held personal prejudices will always come first. When they see Trump, or any other scumbag politician, has the same prejudices as them, they see a kindred spirit.
