    Anyone other than the Republican and Democratic nominees are not giving said nominees a “run for their money”, and should be treated exactly as what they are: a distraction.

      If that were true, then the parties wouldn’t be so upset about third parties. The fact that they work so hard to keep third parties off the ballot, proves that the duopoly is definitely afraid of them.

        Of course people are afraid of them. They have the power to tip the election to the other side, as you well know with 2000 being a rather famous example. A lot of people are afraid of Trump. You’re just not one of them, as you’ve said several times.

    To cut through the nonsense and save everyone time, especially since many in this community have a habit of resorting to personal attacks when responding to posts recently: I support and respect everyone’s right to vote for who they want to.

    I’m just posting this article that’s already available on a much bigger platform than Lemmy—I didn’t write it, just sharing it for discussion.
