Nationalise Stelco!
Stelco is a public company, and the government would have to buy them out, they should take the money from the stelco fine and create a crown corp. to replace it.
All forms of nationalize even in communist China have some form of repayment. Here in Canada we usually rely on the courts to determine fair market rate. It’s sucks, but that’s what UK just did when they nationalized their steel. We could steel the assets but that makes us a bit of a parriah.

We sadly have a conservative goverment rapped in the liberal flag though right now. So as much as I am pro crown corps I do not see it happening.
