I’ve been slowly working my way towards starting a podcast. I know my theme and I have ideas for the first couple episodes, but I’m looking for more in-depth guides through the technical parts of the process. I can research and find open source audio editors, I have access to a good mic setup, and I can write a script, record it, and edit it. My concern is more of the release side. I’m aware that the podcast ecosystem runs via RSS, but I’m looking for a sort of walkthrough of this last leg of the process. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

It just seemed an unnessecary remark to make, and I’ve been put off doing things because of comments like that enough that I felt a counter would have been a nice thing to see.
If there’s one thing the world doesn’t need it’s another up and coming podcaster.
I’d rather that than some miserable cunt telling people not to do things they enjoy.

Thank you. Aside from your point @ALiteralCabbage@feddit.uk which I agree with, money isn’t what motivates me to do things, and I like to write and would like to share my thoughts, ideas, and analysis.
