    True! It’s so gross how often men think “instead of interacting with you like a fellow human and an equal, i’ll talk down to you and somehow that’s going to make you interested”

    Like it’s not the 1900s dude, we can just stay single (or date each other!). We don’t need y’all.

      Literally, I’m a trans lesbian and interacting with men is an exercise in waiting for them to say or do something gross. Gay men too ironically, something about being gay and trans at the same time screws with people’s gender/sexuality assumptions.

        Unfortunately gay men aren’t any more immune from toxic masculinity and misogyny than straight men. I think on average they’re more likely to examine those biases, but it still takes work like all of us and some refuse to do it.

        I’m “unfortunate” enough to be bi, although given how awful most men are I usually stick to enbies and women. I guess i’ll have that to look forward to once I pass more? 🤢
