I moved to Germany and it’s very odd here because everyone expresses they want to consume less animal products and are really nice about me being vegan but I got harassed so much for it I still find it troublesome to tell anyone at all so I usually just avoid eating. :|

it is so true. They become sudden “experts” on the topic they know nothing about. It is the field people believe they know everything about without any formal training needed.

lowkey had a roommate ask me wether I ‘could’ eat broccoli… took him a solid half minute to realize all vegetables are in fact vegan
