So I CAN follow @startrek on my Mastodon feed but I am not sure how sustainable this will be in one feed when I really start finding interesting communities.
@ragnell @startrek exactly this. It’s already borderline unmanageable on the mobile Mastodon UI with just one community.
I think there are always going to be weird road bumps and edgecases with the way different fediverse softwares interact, but you know what, I’ll tolerate a lot of jank if it means we aren’t locked into an untrustworthy corporation’s silo…
