Donald Trump announced Friday that he is withdrawing his support and endorsement of Republican lawmaker Marjorie Taylor Greene, a longtime ally and previously fierce defender of the president and the Maga movement.
Trump’s move away from Greene came just hours after she said in an interview she thought the president’s attempts to stop the release of the files related to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein is “insanely the wrong direction to go”.
“I am withdrawing my support and endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the great state of Georgia,” Trump posted on Truth Social on Friday evening. “All I see ‘Wacky’ Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!”

Who’da thunk MTG actually had principles? Not saying she isn’t still a moron…but, credit where credit is due…she’s not on the wrong side of history, this time.
she doesn’t. it’s a part of her grift and like all right wing grifters she’s altering course so she ensures her grift stays out ahead. The Midterms aren’t going to go well for the MAGA cultists within the party (hopefully) and she sees that and is starting to steer her boat well away from the rest of the MAGA fleet in hopes she doesn’t get caught in the broadsides.
The only credit she deserves is for making a list of everything she knows would piss off the GOP and doing it. If eating a living kitten feet first was on that list, shed do that too. As is, she’s probably trying to figure out how to be a pedophile in a way the GOP hates.
She’s an opportunist. She wants to be president someday and she can read the writing on the wall. If tRump allowed her to run for senator in Georgia with his full support, she may not be acting like she is now.
Not 100% sure on that, but it would’ve been a much harder choice for her.
100% this. She’s still a grifter who has a nose for that kind of stuff. Accidentally on the right side of history, this time.
She has principles. Barely-Crypto fash principles tho. She’s gotten a lot better at politicking since the days of jewish space laser and dogwhistles without even plausible deniability.
