    if a helicopter was actually that close to the road, would you be able to feel it with your car? how far does the force from the propellers travel?

      Probably not much. I work at a hospital and when the chopper lands, it’s surprisingly little wind from 50-ish yds away. The wind force is diminished by something approaching distance cubed which means it drops off very quickly with distance. I should clarify that I’ve never seen a formula for this, it’s just a semi-educated guess. Pseudo-educated, maybe? 😁

    lol for real though, I’ve seen those signs plenty of times before in Canada but I’ve never actually seen any aircraft enforcing speed limits.

      It just means it’s legal for them to measure your speed and ticket you from an aircraft. If the sign wasn’t there they (presumably) wouldn’t be allowed to measure your speed in that way.
