The 20th Century and Disney franchise reboot came in well ahead of an expectations to end a major slump in moviegoing after winning over critics and audiences alike.

I do recommend Prey as a great movie in the same setting but different time period. I also Romulus as a well made Alien movie that doesn’t really do anything new but does hit the right notes for the franchise.

Prey was also directed by Dan Trachtenberg.

Its good, but predator 1 and 2 are better. Just to manage expectations.

very hard to beat the originals. but Prey was true to form and a worthy sequel.
