It’s great to see Blank Slate expanding! Looks like they’re planning a larger production facility in Scio Township, mainly focused on production but also building a small carry out capability focused on online orders. That’ll be nice for folks outside the core who just want to grab a pint or two!
That’s awesome news, any idea where they will be and whether they’ll have a retail side to it? There aren’t any ice cream shops in Scio since Joe and Rosy’s closed, unless you count Culver’s. My family usually winds up going to Dexter Creamery, Dairy Queen, or Baskin Robbins.
Apologies I thought I had attached the screenshot. The address looks to be 7879 Jackson Road. Over by the Baker road exit. And it looks like it will be limited to online/ preorder carry out. Not huge retail but nice set up for folks who just want to grab a pint but don’t want to head into the city.
There used to be a winery there. I heard it was decent, but I guess it didn’t make it through COVID.
