In the heart of Gaza, surrounded by dust and ruins, stands Suleiman, a young man who has known nothing but patience.

Since the last war, his home has turned into a pile of broken stones.

Today, Suleiman and his family live in a torn tent, one that cannot protect them from the freezing cold of the night or the burning heat of the day.

Suleiman’s family once lived from their land — planting trees and growing food — but the war burned everything.

Their trees died, clean water became a luxury, and some days they share a single piece of bread among them.

Yet despite all the pain, Suleiman never lost hope.
