    Same. I was living with a divorcee as housemate down in cork. Dude’s was an orphan turned gangster. But he wasn’t nazi yet. He loved our brazilian housemate and all. I gave him a birthday cake once. He felt into my arms crying saying nobody ever did anything that nice to him, can u imagine. But then last time he was like “too much of dem”. Breaks my heart.

        The same thing as last time sweetie. I’m belgian. My grandparents they lived through nazi occupation. My grandma was like 14 with her 8yo sisters. They took over an abandonned farm. They were alone. The parents stayed. Her dad was part of a resistance network that put a mess in the train system and hid people from the nazis.

        I know it’s very dark time but despair is not an option.
