Israeli airstrikes have targeted multiple areas in eastern and southern Lebanon, claiming to hit Hezbollah targets. Israel has been carrying out regular attacks on Lebanon despite a nearly year-old ceasefire between it and Hezbollah.
The ceasfire deal has already been broken multiple times without enforcement actions from any third parties. There is no ceasfire, only a document not being followed.
Literally thousands of times.
I have a bridge to sell anyone who actually thought Israel would abide by a cease fire agreement.
If Israel attacks Hezbollah in the south, it’s not a breach by Israel, but by Hezbollah. Read the ceasefire agreement.
Seems to go against the entire concept of ceasing fire. But what do I know.
I guess you don’t know much about the current agreement…
I’m just saying, “as part of your cease fire deal, you may continue killing people in that area over there” is pretty counterintuitive.
