I got laid off in march this year. sent out about 600 apps in a month to literally anything qualified for. i got 3 interviews, only for positions i was way overqualified for, and didnt make it through the first round for any of them. i lucked the fuck out with getting reassigned to a position in a diff department, otherwise I’d be living with my parent after losing my home.

There is no job market at the current moment; it simply does not exist.
