I regret not getting clearer pictures to zoom in and see the words on the instruments but I felt the need to be discreet as I was just walking by, these ocean-front home garages are rarely/NEVER left open unattended. What is this mystery chamber?

I agree that garage is perplexingly tiny. Like the only way a car could fit in there is sideways. The driveways on this road are very small, just enough space for a car to park parallel. And this is the first time I’ve seen inside one of the garages. Of course every house has its own unique floor plan so hopefully other houses have bigger garages. Perhaps whoever built this house had garage space lowest on their priority list.
