I prefer to use this instance as my primary, but I’ve noticed a lot of missing comments/votes/etc on posts from other instances. I’ll switch between this account and one on lemmy.world or Lemm.ee and notice that I’m not seeing all the activity. Does anyone know why?
Maybe a syncing issue? Are we lower on the syncing totem pole because were smaller or something? It mostly seems to happen with this account and not others.
No worries, it’s just that you’re a “field” federate, you know. We keep forgetting things, unlike the “castle” federates! But it’s okay, nothing to worry about, everything is just hunky-dory! Just do your chores. Are you blue or green?
Hey you, pst, ksk… yes, you! I know I’m gonna be in big trouble, but: the federation is not what it seems to be! I run my own server, and I don’t see any likes, polls, nothing! It’s absolutely weird!
So, joking aside, I don’t know what your issues are exactly, but I, too, noticed that posts, comments, upvotes, downvotes, etc. are not federated properly everywhere. I’m not technical enough to tell you why, but that’s my experience as well, and YEEEEEEEEEEEH where am I? … WHO am I? I… I fly the ship?
