    By the time he’s old enough to worry, we may have a cure. Seems we’re advancing in leaps and bounds understanding how plaques build up and how to break them up.

    I may be wrong, but Alzheimer’s seems to be a single disease. Unlike cancer, it may be susceptible to a “silver bullet”.

    Hell, I’m 54. When I was a kid AIDS and cancer were death sentences. 🤷🏻‍♂️

      The more we find out about alzheimers, the harder to cure it is all we really find out. We have gotten better about identifying precursors to slow down progress or encourage prevention, but no cures in sight. There are also definitely multiple kinds with differing causes.
