What we’re seeing is a slowdown in the consumer economy, not a boycott. But pretending a recessionary wave is some kind of political movement makes the austerity feel righteous.

That’s half the joke. Disney has the market cornered and fully saturated. What we’re seeing is a slowdown in the consumer economy, not a boycott.
