Not really, no. It’s a “it’s the thought that counts” kind of gift for me (and it shows not a lot of thought). If you want to get me a gift, a nice tea, an interesting scarf, a good book you read and want to share … that kind of thing is more my kind of vibe.

Small gifts that are thoughtful and personal go a really long way. My husband finally understands I don’t like mass produced dust collectors, and has switched to finding local made dust collectors lol he’ll get there eventually.
In light of your husband’s poor gift giving skills, and assuming he’s not a terrible man, would you not prefer he get you flowers? Or did the first guy ruin flowers for you?
