      the american people chose change. they were given the option between someone who acknowledges the country is fucked up and has radical plans to change it, and someone who has no platform other than keeping things the same. nobody wants things to stay the same rn.

      Can’t even blame this on the electoral college, lmao.

      For weeks after the election Bluesky libs were so annoyed, so huffy, and so tedious.

      A normal rando who doesn’t follow politics 24/7 would say “Trump won the majority of the popular vote.”

      Libs would swarm on them. They would correct them over-and-over again: “I’ll have you know that Trump did not get a majority of the popular vote. He got ~1.5% more than Kamala but less than 50%.”

      The number bounced around a little I think the final number was Trump got 49.8%. Oh my god! Definitely not anywhere close to 50%!
