Good luck explaining that to most people. I’ve had a cannabis dependence for years now, and I get called an addict by certain members of my family, even though I’ve held a job longer than most of them were in school. I partake everyday, but the boss doesn’t care/suspect anything and my output meets/exceeds expectations, so they’re happy with me.

I know. Doesn’t make it any less true, though, as you appear to be an excellent example of 🤷
Do you think “able to hold a job” is what defined addict Or not?
No, more an indicator that it isn’t negatively impacting my life. I’ve known plenty of addicts that can’t say the same.
