You mean, don’t be accurate. The fun thing about pedantry is that it isn’t useless. It literally is about the meaning of words. If you use the wrong words and are incorrect, you don’t get to blame other people for correcting you.
Original means original, not a remake, not an adaptation, not a re-invisioning.
