With that definition, Janeway didn’t murder Tuvix. She had justification, even if one believes Tuvix still had a right to live. Poor justification is still justification.

So the thing is, that, tuvix’s right to life is currently violating Tuvok’s and Nellix’s right to life.

It’s far more complicated than can be shown on the screen. Personally, I think she got it right. Even if it’s not an easy decision to make.

Yea I actually agree. Even on the surface, one quite literal mistake of a being’s existence isn’t as much value as two beings’ existence. Even if their minds were truly both there in agreement, allowing Tuvix to exist is kinda’ like saying, “naaaahhhh, I totally wouldn’t undo that car crash that permanently altered our lives if I had the choice.”

The other thing is… how do you know tuvix is telling the truth? That they’re okay with it?

It’s an entirely new entity. No telling how the two personalities interact to create it.

Well, they were both very honest people before the merge at least. I cannot imagine they’d come out of it dishonest. … of course having your life on the line is a hell of a reason to start lying!

              Nelix wasn’t that honest, lol.

Tuvok was living undercover lying all the time, and Nelix lied to rescue Kes, for example.

Well OK I guess I more mean honorable sort of behavior. lol Though yea lying to stay alive isn’t exactly the worst thing someone could do anyways. Janeway was still right regardless! At least, outside of the risk of it not working and frying all three of 'em. I don’t remember how they portrayed the risk.
