I’ve always struggled with depression but had it really well managed for several years. I thought I’d cracked the code. But I’m going through perimenopause now and everything feels so… flat. I know it’s not helping that I’ve fallen out of all my good habits that help the depression, but all of those things just feel so much harder than they did a few years ago. I’m so dang tired all the time.

Anyone else relate?

Thanks for posting this, peri is still kinda hidden although it’s an expected part of women’s lives. This is one of many reasons I’m dreading menopause. I already have depression and anxiety why would I want more? I’ve not heard good things about doctors with menopause either although luckily I’m in a good one.

With everything that’s going on in your body right now it’s no surprise you feel flat. Your hormones are being whacked all over the place, your body is changing and then you’ve got the psychological effect of going through peri. No wonder you feel flat, and back in bad habits.

Don’t forget we’ve got your back here, anytime you need us just holler.
