I used to watch a lot of animes as a teenager but I rarely do now. Most likely my interests just shifted but I feel like I can’t get into them any more. Seemingly everwhere I look is stereotypical comedy and fan service. Was that always the case and I just didn’t notice?

There are definitely still some good ones out there, but you have to wade through the stuff you don’t like.
