A new study finds Canadians were far more likely to report boycotting American products, services and travel than those in the U.K. and France.

Now Canada has lifted most of the retaliatory tariffs, with Carney explaining that Canada has the “best deal with the United States right now.”

Canadians may choose to follow the direction of their prime minister or they may view this as an opportunity to take more responsibility and continue to use their purchasing choices to influence trade relations.

    I’m correcting misinformation.

    You’re splitting hairs. Donald Trump is a delusional malignant narcissist, a stochastic terrorist, and a wannabe mafia don. He speaks in innuendo and “deniable” language: “Russia, if you’re listening”, “You won’t have to vote again”, “I need you to find me 11k votes”.

    He doesn’t threaten to invade Greenland, he’s just “going to get it one way or another.”

    He doesn’t threaten to invade Panama, he’s just “going to take it back.”

    He’s not threatening to invade Mexico, he’s “going after the gangs”.

    He’s nearly incapable of envisioning the outcome of his own actions. Nearly all the actions above would result in war. He wouldn’t call it war. Like his idol, he’d likely call it a “special military operations”. But the rest of the world would call it a war. He’s threatening war not directly, but as a direct and predictable outcome of choices.

    Of course he never threatened invasion. He would deny he’s ordering an invasion even as he orders an invasion. And the weird shit is, thanks to his mental illness, he would deny it’s an invasion, deny it’s a war, inside his own head even as he gives the orders to do so.

    And you’re sitting there “well ackchually”-ing the words of the most dishonest and delusional humans alive, as if anything he says or doesn’t say means anything at all.
